Double-blind review process

In 2014 a double-blind review process was introduced to the International Yearbook of Adult Education. All articles are transmitted anonymously to two reviewers, who provide a review within four weeks.

On the one hand the review consists of a review form, which contains 15 criteria concerning the categories contextualization of the topic, scientific criteria and formal criteria. The reviewers conclude by recommending, not recommending or recommending the publication after revision. The review form remains in the editorial office.

On the other hand the reviewers provide comments for the authors, that they receive anonymously. The authors revise the articles concerning the comments and transmit it to the editorial office within four weeks, where the revisions are examined.

Here you will find the review form. The completed review form plus commentaries (as a separate file) can be sent via email or on the postal way to the editorial office.
